Document Imaging

PDP's Document Imaging services allows clients the ability to share
information with business partners or employees working remotely by
accessing images from a central location. Storing the documents electronically
also reduces the cost to the client who might otherwise have to maintain
a physical storage location and equipment. Quality Control procedures are
in place to ensure that the client's scanned documents are legible and complete.
- PDP digitally captures each incoming document,
making the image accessible to our clients using a standard Internet
connection via the world wide web.
- Images can be viewed on-line, printed or sent
electronically via e-mail.
- Virtually all transactions are processed by
PDP using an image versus the paper document to reduce the risk of
mishandled documents and cost of handling manual documents
- No need to purchase or load additional software on user desktops
other than a web browser and PDF viewer.
- PDP's imaging components provide a complete
customized workflow service for a variety of document types utilizing:
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- Bar Code Recognition
- Image enhancement
- This service eliminates the need to manually
access files for copies, allowing you to print or e-mail images from your
own workstation.
- Blank pages are automatically removed by the scanning process.
- Images are hand-checked for missing pages, skewing, legibility, and cut-offs
- Any images which are illegible or have other scanning problems are immediately
sent back for re-scan.
